Service Delivery Update for
Early Intervention and Boundless Programs
Thank you so much to those who took the time to complete our recent survey about comfort level with in-person services in various locations. What we heard loud and clear is that there is no one size fits all approach at this point in time! We have both staff and families who are not yet ready for any in-person services and we have those who are eager to resume ASAP. In response, Wonderland will continue with virtual services while very gradually working back toward in-person service delivery. We intend to continue offering virtual services as long as possible. We don’t want families to be forced to choose between their health and safety and services for their child, and we want ALL of our staff, including those not comfortable with or able to deliver services in-person, to be able to continue doing the work they love to do!
Effective October 1st, 2020, Wonderland will be offering very limited in-person interventions for urgent, time-limited, pre-approved services that are deemed essential to the child’s progress. While programs at Wonderland may have slight variations on criteria for in-person service eligibility, required health and safety precautions for both staff and families will be consistent across all programs. Talk to your Wonderland service team with any questions or call 206-364-3777 for more information.
Please note: preferred locations for approved in-person services are outdoors (if appropriate and weather permitting) and in clinical rooms at both Wonderland facilities (Bothell and Shoreline).
