The Next Level Early-intervention Program

Our early-intervention services help children with a range of developmental delays and disabilities—from speech or motor delays to feeding issues, autism and prenatal substance exposure. Infants up to age three receive personalized therapies in their natural learning environments, such as home or childcare center.

Your child’s first therapy session is at no cost to your family!

We understand that getting started with virtual therapy may seem overwhelming. That’s why we are offering a developmental evaluation and your first therapy session AT NO COST to your family. Give it a try – contact us today!

Wonderland is also offering a free online developmental milestone screener. All results are reviewed by our specialists who can recommend further evaluation and services if any concerns are discovered during the screening. Click here to access the screener.

(Offer valid for new families starting birth-to-three services through March 31st, 2021.)

How to Enroll

Step 1. Referral

Babies and toddlers rarely do the same thing at the same time. You may wonder… Why isn’t my baby crawling? Why isn’t my child sitting up? Should my child be talking more at their age?

If you have concerns about your child’s development, ask your doctor for a referral or contact us directly for an evaluation. This developmental screening tool can provide a quick check of your child’s development in five areas, and will help show strengths and areas where they may need practice or support.

Step 2. Evaluation

Wonderland provides an in-home evaluation at no cost to the family. If your child qualifies for services (determined by a 25% delay in one of more developmental areas, or has a diagnosed need), our providers will design a personalized plan of service for your family’s unique needs.

Our team of skilled practitioners provides occupational and physical therapy, speech-language pathology, special education, infant mental health support, and family resources support.

Step 3. Therapy and Supports

Our services include occupational and physical therapy, speech-language pathology, special education, infant mental health, and family resources support. Your child will receive therapy from our specialists with additional support from a dedicated family resource coordinator. In addition to personalized therapy, you and your child can also benefit from our supplemental support programs such as Preschool Readiness, Hanen Parenting Program, Kaleidoscope Play & Learn Groups, Little Wonders: PEPS, and Developmental Bridge Program.

What do these services cost?

Wonderland provides services to all families regardless of the income, insurance, and ability to pay.

We receive county and school district funding toward the costs of early-intervention services. We serve families in north King and south Snohomish counties who live in the following school districts: Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, Northshore, and north Lake Washington. Please contact us to see if your family resides within our service area.

We also bill private insurance and Medicaid for therapy services. Parents are responsible for applicable deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance; however, financial assistance is available from our uncompensated care fund. Contact us for more information.

“My wife and I were concerned when our son wasn’t walking or talking at 20 months, so our pediatrician recommended Wonderland to help with his development. We had a team at Wonderland working with him to get him on track. The support they gave to him – and to us as parents – was incredible. We will be forever grateful for their work.”
