Letter from the Executive Director
We are starting off the new year filled with gratitude for the families, staff, and supporters who made 2021 a success.
As we grappled with the uncertainties and challenges that came with an ever-evolving pandemic, the Wonderland community showed up for the families we serve, enabling us to reach more children in need of services than ever before.
Supporters like you contributed over $121,000 through our Season of Wonder campaign. Your incredible generosity is enabling us to serve even more families in 2022.
I’m thrilled to share that in 2021:
- Wonderland provided 12,184 sessions through Hope RISING Clinic and Early Support programs.
- 676 families received life-changing therapies and support.
- Every month, 371 children received the services they need to thrive.
We’ve continued supporting families though weekly Play & Learn groups, which hundreds of local families enjoy virtually thanks to our partnership with Sno-Isle Libraries.
At the end of 2021, there were over 50 families on the waitlist at Hope RISING Clinic for prenatal substance exposure. Thanks to Wonderland’s incredible community of supporters, our waitlist has dropped to 40 kids.
This progress is just the beginning. While we work hard to raise funds to serve more children, we are also fighting for families at the state level by advocating to add FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) to the list of developmental differences recognized by Washington State. We will keep you updated on the progress of this work.
Thank you for being part of the Wonderland community. We look forward to another year of growth, service, and wonder.

Executive Director, CEO
P.S. Do you know a family that may benefit from Wonderland’s free online developmental screener? Please help spread the word to families with children who may benefit from our wide range of therapies and family support.
